Cindy Hernandez-Sawtelle - Executive Director USA

Beginning with childhood penny drives through her current position as Executive Director/USA, for aRTISTS iN dIVINE sPIRIT, Cindy’s mission in life always has been making sure no one has to go without. She was born on November 23, 1953, and raised in Santa Barbara, California attending local schools from kindergarten through college. Deep roots and strong ties in the community coupled with Cindy’s extensive experience in the legal profession assist her in reaching her fundraising and charitable goals. Cindy and her son, Aaron, live in Santa Barbara and as a natural storyteller and gifted writer, Cindy is working on a novel, a fiction piece loosely based on her life, in her spare time.

Professionally, she has facilitated transactions in the multi-million dollar arena of Santa Barbara’s Real Estate and Land Use market; implemented software programs and accompanying processes; and led a team of employees through concept to profit-making venture. In addition, her volunteer activities have included hands on work with local firefighters, giving to animal causes and mentoring substance abuse survivors.
